As early the 1990s, the historic Maserati brand came under the patronage of a personality from the central Swiss automotive industry in the form of Pierre Sudan.

His professional commitment and dedication as a businessman, and of course his motorsport successes in a Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 LM and 275 GTB all contributed towards Pierre Sudan having also been responsible for the Ferrari brand as the official dealer for central Switzerland since August 2001.
